12/11/2021 Walking through Switherland Woods over to Bradgate Park approx 5 miles.

 

Parking up in the North Car Park of Swithland Woods.

Not so many walkers today.

Over into Bradgate Park.

Coffee and cake at the Visitors Centre.

Scones looked good.

On our way back passing the reservoir.

The car park is just around the corner, quite a short but lovely walk.

5/11/2021 Walking at Market Bosworth approx 6.5 miles.

All about ready to go from Market Bosworth Country Park.

Looking for a pavement down to the village centre.

Warm and toasty.

On the outskirts of Market Bosworth town.

 Getting the point across.

Super colours of autumn.

Time out at the top of a hill, good views all around.

On our way into the Battlefield centre.

Beware of temptation.

Some gave way to temptation, but were happy to share we're told.

Getting down to it!

Nothing like a piece of cake.

We didn't leave them behind.

On the way back.

Back into Market Bosworth.

And across the County Park.

Very skilful.

We chose Market Bosworth for our walk this week hoping we'd see lots of autumn colour and we weren't disappointed.
