Eleven walkers were looking forward to a good walk in very nice weather, so it was boots on and off we went.
Straight into the fields from Wistow with the usual friendly animals for company.
After skirting Kilby and over towards the canal the going became a little more difficult in parts.
We came to the hole in the hedge and found that after such good growing weather, the opening to be even smaller than usual.
Somebody offered to hold the gate -
until we all got through.
We then set off over the bridge on the way to the canal and
along the tow-path for a couple of miles or so.
Oh, and we found a cow looking as if she wanted to go for a dip!
Coming away from the canal we headed towards the beautiful Wistow Church.
On to Wistow garden centre and a well earned cuppa and cake for some.
Well, we all enjoyed the walk and we're looking forward to next week. See you all 10.30am Cosby Village Hall car park.
P.S. Anybody seen Willie and Sheila lately?
