28th August 2026. Walk to Everards in Fosse Park.

Well it did rain last night.

Off we go along the Central railway footpath.

The path and the canal run side bye side all the way into Leicester.

Old friends meet up by chance.

Not an old friend and not to be fed . Because of weight issues.

 

Over the canal on on our way to Fosse Park and a cuppa.

A new part of the path to help with getting over the much wetter parts of the Soar.

Just about to leave but the next door neighbour decided to trap himself. Could have been painful.

Down at Cosby Village Hall car park getting ready for the start of he walk.

Strange thingy on Cosby Main Street. 

Out of Cosby into the fields.

Good old natter going on.

Our first style not to much trouble for most.

Yes they all made it.

Not much cereal to speak off most has been combined already one month early because of the hot weather.

Fields were all the same.

It certainly is very dry and very hot.

Crossing over into Broughton Astley on our way to a party.
