10 /10/2025 Walking around Thornton Water.

Not a bad day for a walk around Thornton Reservoir.

 The local birds have arrived for feeding and our gang for walking.

Off we go 
                                       

Plenty of chat 

      

The fishermen use this platform for launching as do the birds for sunbathing.

                               

The local gathering place for guillemots.

Lots of good country views around Thornton.

Noting the low levels of water of the reservoir after our very dry summer.

Some walked all the way back again and others went straight to the watering hole.
