8-11-2013 Walk from Willoughby Waterlys to Peatling Parva Approx 5mls.

Well it is November, so everybody needs to be well wrapped up and have good stout walking shoes. It always pays to have a bag with waterproofs as well, even though the sky is nice and clear, you just never know.

Twelve walkers turned up to blow the cob webs away.

Getting ready for the start

     Off we go

Christmas tree with cones
These two ladies have just passed a field where one of  those country smells had drifted across .

The alpacas could do with their winter coats

Nearing the Shires - must be getting fitter - we're early. The staff at the Shires were excellent and let us in to the warm inviting room where a carvery had just been laid out.
The rear of the Shires

Just what the doctor ordered and chocolate brownies as well

Muddy parts

Hat of the day on the right  - Tesco I think
The joint of pork on the carvery was very tempting - one of us just couldn't resist a generous slice or two sandwiched in a baguette.

Rest a while

Nearly there
See you all next week -  hope it's dry.
