Starting the walk from the village of Thurlaston in Warwickshire.
Draycote Water is a 240-hectare reservoir and country park near the village of Dunchurch, 3.75 miles south of Rugby in Warwickshire, owned and operated by Severn Trent Water. It draws its water from the River Leam and supplies drinking water to Rugby and Coventry.
Taking a breather before crossing the reservoir wall.
Nature trails and bird hides for a serene and natural day out.
Draycote Water Sailing Club run sailing and windsurfing activities at this site for members. Day sailing for dinghies.
Whether it's a cool drink to quench your thirst or a hot meal to warm you up, the Waterside Restaurant has plenty on offer and offers great views across the reservoir.
Most of us unable to resist their fresh cream and jam scones.
Soon time to leave and complete our full circle around the reservoir.
Taking in the view across the reservoir.
A slight hill to end the walk.
Always a lovely walk even on an overcast day like today.
