Friday 16th July Walking from Dunton Bassett to Ashby Parva approx. 4.5 miles

 

Beautiful, hot summer day so the decision to keep the walk short seemed like a good idea.

                                                   

Leaving Dunton Bassett, we had parked close to the church so after a little chat we set off for Ashby Parva.

                                         

Horses were out to see us off.

                                       

Quiet country lane all the way there and all the way back

                                        

Cow with tail swinging. Keeping flies away no doubt.

In Ashby we stopped at the Holly Bush for tea and coffees.

Everybody was enjoying themselves. Really does make a difference when the sun is out.

Unfortunately, we don't have any photos of the return back to Dunton Bassett, think we were just enjoying the moment of lovely weather and forgot.
