29/3/2024 walking to Kings lock from Blaby along the Great Central Way

 

Wet, wet, wet.

Off to Kings lock.

Keeping to tarmac surfaces all the way.

Blossom the start of spring.

All the locks and rivers are swollen.

Into King's Lock cafe and a warm welcome.

Back out and back the way we came as the canal path is closed further on.

Swans swimming in the fields.

Just one small shower today keeping the air nice and fresh.
