Welcome to Belton House a National Trust property near Grantham for their daffodil show and beautiful parkland.
Straight away we made our way to see the magnificent display of daffodils in the parkland.

Photographers didn't know where to start.

The moles were following us underground.
Couldn't miss an opportunity for a group shot or two.
More flowers.
National Trust had made boards to explain the differences in the daffodils.
Around by the lake house we came across a team of NT workers doing a film on frogs and their habits
The NT workers were very happy to explain what they were doing.

Very interesting interlude, then we moved off around the lake.
We started walking around the lake but flooding problems meant we had to backtrack into the park.
Unusually, the Church was open to view.
So a tour around the Church was a must.
Beautiful, but .....
The formal Italian gardens and the house.
Interesting, wonder what it is?
A closer view of the Tower. It's a bit blowy up here.
Goodby Belton, we'll be back another season.
An evening meal at Weatherspoons to finish the day for some. Caught on camera, everyone looking a bit glum - it really wasn't like that!
