Foston Church to Peatling Magna approx 3.5 miles.

As we parked up a couple of horse riders came along and wished us all a nice days walking.

About ready to go.

 Horses disappearing in the distance.

A beautiful scene of cow parsley illuminated by dappled sunlight through the trees.

This is the direction of travel. Straight on.

A field of broad beans to our right.

Oops, something rather large trundling down the lane.

A tractor with a baling machine attached.

Half way around our walk and time for a five minute break. Seats provided by the Cock Inn.

Lucky dogs!

On the way back we spotted someone's pride and joy.

It's the season for goose eggs.

This sheep could do with a hair cut.

Arnsby Mill in the distance.

Back at the cars. Good walk and good weather.  Time now for a cuppa at Cherry Lane Garden Centre.

Oops, nearly forgot about the buttercup meadows, just beautiful, very English.

Walking from Market Bosworth Country Park to The Visitor Centre app 5.5 mls.

Into the fields on the other side of Market Bosworth Country Park.

Through a rather thick hedge.

Out on the other side we wait while everybody catches up.

Yellow irises around the small lake.

Meandering paths through the fields of growing corn.

More blossom to admire.

Through Sutton Cheney.

Back out into the fields and on our way to the Visitor Centre.

Everybody enjoys a cuppa.

Cake !!!!!!!!!!!!

Gotcha!

The Battle of Bosworth, King Richard's downfall.

On our way out of the Battle Field site heading back to Market Bosworth.

One lonely weed?

Not far now, been a really good day for walking.

Back into the town, and in the country park we find a fallen tree that someone has sculpted into various animals.

And finally, a message to our founder and original leader who is recovering after a recent stay in hospital.  We all send our best wishes to you for a speedy recovery, without you, we wouldn't have our lovely walking group, hope you get well soon. 😊
