Lovely fine day for a walk around Thornton Water Reservoir.
This way around today.
Off to a good start.
The path shown here is part of the Leicester Round.
The end of the reservoir where we have seen kingfishers on previous occasions, not today though.

Ducks geese and swans all gather at the car park for free meals from the public.

After a rousing birthday song for one of our walkers followed by cakes we all departed to the Golf Club for coffee/tea and drinks.
