Just been to check that he locked the car.
The sun was shining as we set off from Dunton Bassett to Ashby Parva.
This little chap looked as if he'd been in a fight with Mike Tyson. We moved him to a safer place in the hedge row - you never know, he might survive.
Not a lot of traffic down this lane, consequently the trees are able to form themselves into tunnels of green.
Thirsty cows taking a drink.
A look back in time, a farmer with an ancient tractor mowing grassy meadows.
Moving on up Dunton Lane chatting away, taking in the views as we passed the fields.
When we reached Main Street at Ashby Parva we turned left to show some of the walkers the Alms Houses which had a very interesting history.
The plaque denoting the Alms Houses.
We were all ready for a cuppa so we called in at the local pub.
Back down Dunton Lane on the way home.
The photographers were very happy to see a field of hay that was baled but without the usual black poly wrappers. Looks as if we will have to run for it quite soon.
They are coming to get you.

Back into Dunton Basset.
Last field and back to the cars.
Good walk and no rain. See you all next week.
