2nd March 2018 Freezing weather in Cosby and the rest of the UK.

No good going for much of a walk today, we just might get stuck.

The Beast from the East had settled into Cosby and it was freezing.

Absolutely not good weather for walking. Plan A for today - a small hike through the village to Granny Smith's cafe.

A bit of a queue but there was no hurry.

Soon settled down to tea/coffee and the odd cake or two.

Willie, Sheila, Naire and friend joined us having just returned from New Zealand.

They introduced Naire's new friend, a Kiwi (name yet to be decided)

Everybody was in good spirits and of course there was a lot of conversation about New Zealand.  

The odd cream scone always goes down well.

We hope the snow thaws soon so we can all get out and about again next week.
