On a cloudy, chilly day we set off from Enderby Leisure Centre.
Walking towards Narborough.
Through Narborough passing Narborough Hall.
Heading out of Narborough towards Croft.
Turning right onto the disused railway line that ran down from the quarries.
The path along here is well used by lots of walkers from Enderby who come out for a short stroll with their dogs.
A view of Croft hill in the distance.
Over the road bridge that runs up to Huncote.
Down a stairway onto Copt Oak Road.
Up the lane and into the Copt Oak pub to refresh.
Back out of the Copt Oak and we continued our walk by rejoining the railway line and walking up to Seine Lane.
Up on to Seine Lane passing the the local artistic wall.
Up the steps to Seine Lane
Local celebrity Alice Young lived here.
One of the local chapels.
Passing the New Inn and Dog and Gun all the way to the Coop over the road. Another five minutes and we were back at the leisure centre just before the rain arrived.
Good walk, see you all next week.
