7/3/025 Foston Church to Peatling Magna and back.

Foston Church on a very cold morning. The weather forecast however says the sun will be out soon.

Before we start we let the cyclists away first - could be a tadge faster than us.

Caught in the sunshine.

Very enthusiastic.

Dressage practice.

Smiles all round, the sun is out now. There have been signs saying the road is closed today, other than the cyclists, only seen two vehicles so must be true.

Taking the lead.

Essential to close the gates. Some good stuff for the roses?

The views around this particular part of Leicestershire are spectacular, even with the grey skies.

Always try to take advantage of closed roads, they make for comfortable walking.

A redundant farm yard?

Very efficient early warning system,

Wouldn't want to argue with them!

Out of the village for the walk back.

Camera ready.

We're nearly ready.

And here we are!

Sun is out and it's getting a bit warmer.

Looks like they have reopened the road with the bin lorry arriving.

St Bartholomew's Church at Foston

Meeting up with others at Cherry Lane Garden Centre, Countesthorpe.

Warm enough to be outside on the terrace.

See you all next week.
