Walking from the B4114 layby to Broughton Astley.

Gathering at the layby on the B4114. Very blustery and unfortunately, threatening rain in the air but the chocolates got us off to a good start.

All suitably dressed and cameras consigned to pockets, we were on our way.

By the time we got to Broughton Astley, the rain had stopped.  We decided to surprise one of our regulars who is just recovering from a new knee operation. He looked really well and on the way to a full recovery, so hopefully he'll be back walking with us soon.

Good opportunity for a group photo or two.

After our goodbyes, we strolled over  to the White Horse for a cuppa.

Coffee is served.

On our way back to the cars.

Mad March hares have been seen here on a previous occasion, but unfortunately, not today.

Great to get out and about for a bit of fresh air.

Daffodils are always a cheery sight.

See you next week
