25/04/2025 Bluebell walk around Boroughs Woods Ratby.

A beautiful day for a walk.

Off into Boroughs Woods in search of bluebells.

Watch where we are treading, manure under foot.

Come on everybody, keep up.

Cheeky grin.

Breathe in grandad.

Bluebells - just what we were looking for.

The Woodland Trust have been doing a lot of conservation work and parts of the wood have been cleared but all for the good we're told.

A bit of rain and lots of mud.

A secret seat.

Through the farm yard.

 Hugging trees.

We normally park here but not this time.

Found a friend.

More bluebells.

The bluebells were stunning.

We think a rather large tractor went that way.

Being careful not to trample on the bluebells.

Back on to the golf course making our way to the club house for lunch.

We usually just have coffee here but we thought we'd give the food a try this time.

Seems a good idea.

Everybody enjoyed it.

A nice ending to a lovely walk.
