24/10/2025 Walking from Blaby to Kings Lock Cafe.

 

Autumn definitely on its way.

    

Beautiful day FOR A WALK ALONG THE GREAT CENTRAL RAILWAY.
                                        

The Soar running along side the Canal.

Thought better of it and went back.

Over the bridge and on to KINGS LOCK cafe.

All ordered just waiting fo our drinks etc.

Thats better warming drinks all roun.

The return walk took in the canal back to Blaby.

The canal had been drained because of the shortage of water. Unfortunately a lot of water dwellers were caught out in the evacuation.

Back to our starting point.

Fresh painting this morning vandalised two hour later.

Fortunately this master vandal had permission from his dad who owned the building.
