15.04.2016 Walking from Bouskell Park, Blaby to Tesco Wigston and back app 4.75 mls.

Well, the weather forecast wasn't good, heavy cloud and rain, so we opted for a local walk to Wigston.

Booted up and waterproofs on, we set off.

The overcast sky and constant drizzle didn't dampen our spirits.

The daffodils are still showing the last of their colour here and there.

Multi sign-age makes interesting reading.

The tree with the hump has grown a couple of inches since the last time we were down this way.

Entering Wigston we were quite relieved to see the local boat
rescue was still there.

Well, it does flood a lot around this area!

Nice to see that the local art boards were being cleaned up ready for the next artists that happen along.

Crossing the road to enter the park path that leads to Tesco.

Tea, coffee and soft drinks as well as cake and scones - just what the doctor ordered on a damp day.  Every little helps!

Everyone enjoyed their break.

Back on track to Blaby.

Considering the weather, it was a good walk - great to get out in the fresh air. See you all next Friday.

Don't forget earlier start next Friday -  09.30am at Cosby Village Hall car park.

Walking from Staunton Harold to Caulk Abbey
Friday 22nd April.  Further info by e-mail.
