8th April 2016 Cosby via Narborough to Enderby and back app 6mls.

It wasn't a bad a morning, weatherwise, as we gathered for a walk from Cosby Village hall car park to Enderby.

 Booting up.

Spring is in the air and the blossom is blooming.

Coming into Littlethorpe.

Down towards The Plough.

Over the railway crossing.

Passing the Narborough Arms.

Up  past the Council Offices

The big discussion on which way to go - up to the Pastures or to the centre of Enderby for coffee.

The Pastures and the Copt Oak wins.

Another discussion - this time on who won 'the plank' competition at the local gym and it was revealed that our most mature (and fittest?) member won.  Anyone who has had a go at 'the plank' will know just how difficult it is.

A demonstration of 'the plank' - what a star!

On the way to catch up with the rest of the group.

Daffodils, although now past their best, still look the part.

At The Copt Oak for a well earned cuppa served with biscuits.

Well, that was lovely but time's up!.

It was decided to go down Whistle Way making the walk more of a circular one.

Oops, something not quite right with that hat.

After reaching the end of Whistle Way we walked through Narborough and Littlethorpe and it started to rain a little.

So, just a little damp, we made our way back into Cosby.

Still smiling.

Yet again a great walk, good company and plenty of tales to tell.

A date for your diary 22.04.2016
