10.01.2020 Walking from Ratby to Forest Hills Golf Club app. 5 .5 mls.

What a beautiful day, sunshine, no wind and only slightly chilly. Thirty three of us out for a natter and a walk through the woods.

 Great views of the woods.

Only one road to cross then on to the next stage of the walk.

Sunshine and shadows for photographers.

Along Burroughs Road towards the golf course.

Still wandering through the woods then down an incline, a sharp right and we are alongside the golf course.

Have to keep and eye out around this area as kingfishers have been spotted here in the past.

None today, plenty of water though.

Time for a group photo before crossing the golf course.

Extremely soft underfoot.

Crossing the golf course where the golfers give way to walkers, very good natured they were too.

In the conservatory at Forest Hills Golf Club chatting away and watching the golfers outside.

Willie and Sheila put in an appearance with some photos of their latest adventure, travelling by train from the UK to Switzerland.

Grand tour starting at the Matterhorn

It's posh here in St Moritz

Looks like they had a great time, hear they're off again soon, we think it could be India.

Back to today - the picture says it all.

Watching our Ps and Qs as we leave to set off back the way we came.

Nearly back, just turning off Burroughs Road. The sun has disappeared and the all too familiar clouds are moving across the sky.

A couple of our canine friends out for a stroll.

Another couple of hundred yards and we will be back at the cars.

Another fine walk, a bit of sunshine makes all the difference.
