23.2.2024 Lay-by on B4114 to Broughton Astley - another rainy day.

After all the floods the choice of walks was very limited. Although we did this recently, we chose walking from the B4114 lay-by to Broughton Astley as many other walks were actually flooded and impassable.

Sunshine to order after all the rain as we set out for Broughton.

What no colour?  This is how we used to have our photographs, they still have depth and charm.

Clear(ish) blue sky.

Still a bit on the the cold side.

Pods for the calves?

Looks like a tractor's been through this way.

Always time to put the world to rights.

Smile please - and who wouldn't - sunshine and daffodils, perfect!

Off we go again.

Somebody mentioned tea and coffee.

Good photo

They think we have food, sorry  to disappoint.

Flooded yesterday so all the reeds swept in one direction.  It's amazing how quickly it's flooded and how quickly it recedes.

At the White Horse

Are we either too late or too early?

Catching up after last week's birthday celebrations.

Lots of smiley faces.

Some deep in conversation.

Time to go back

After startling the ducks, another couple of photos on the bridge.

All ready now.

Nearly back.

Who lives here?

See you next week.
