4/7/25 Swithland Woods walk.

A very hot day and getting hotter all day long.

So we went for a walk in Swithland Woods and kept shaded until we popped into Bradgate park to the visitor centre for refreshments.

           

Nice and cool in the woods.                                                                                

The sunshine filtered through here and there and it was very pleasant.
                                                 

                                       

 Out of the woods and into Bradgate a short walk to the visitor centre.

It's all looking a bit parched and dry.

We all managed to get good shady seats.

                                   

                                    

    Some found space under a brolly.

                              

    Back out to the woods and Swithland.

After the entering the woods, for some reason nobody took any more photos. We can assure you it was nice and COOL.

Also when we got back to the cars. there was a surprise waiting somebody had a birthday party and provided cakes and drinks, Wonderful especially the rendition of HAPPY BITHDAY.
