Friday 16th August walk from Cosby to Enderby and back approx 6 miles.

Well, the weather was not great, so much so, you didn't really know what to wear. The forecast was for rain after twelve so we didn't waste any time starting our walk from Victoria Park in Cosby heading towards Littlethorpe.

Water-proofs at the ready.

Going through Littlethorpe we passed two pubs that always seem very popular.

Leaving Littlethorpe we crossed over the river and the railway passing a couple of local eating places and then went over the main road heading for Enderby.

There's a rather nice sign post near the main road .

Walking up to Enderby we passed the leisure centre, then on into the middle of the the village where we had a cup of tea/coffee at the local cafe.

After a nice break and a natter we set off back via The Pastures, over the main road and back into Narborough passing the cemetery and the church.

From Narborough we went back over the railway line through Littlethorpe on our way to Cosby. It was a nice walk and luckily it didn't rain.

Looking forward to next week and you never know, Willie and Sheila may join us.
