30.6.23 walking from Mowsley to Gumley app 6 miles.

 Ideal day for a brisk walk.

All parked up we set off for Gumley.

    

Informative sign post, we are taking the road to Laughton.

Great morning, all smiles and terrific countryside.

Laughton and a little rest for a catch up. We do tend to spread out a little as we chat our way along.

Interesting clock - you do need a little of knowledge to pinpoint the time or it could be something else ??

At The Bell in Gumley and time for a cuppa and a chat.

Off we go again, we will be back hopefully sooner rather than later.

Oops we forgot somebody, good job we noticed before we got out of the village. 

Back into the countryside. Through the cricket pitch which is on both sides of the road - a bit tricky on match days.

A little rain and a rendition of singin' in the rain.

We met earlier and still a handsome chap, at a distance of course.
