23/6/2023 Walking around Beacon Hill Sculptures.

A visit to Beacon Hill with an installation of sculptures to explore.

Beautiful day to start with, hats and water bottles attached we all set off.

Beacon Hill takes its name from its history as a signalling point.  Many times over the centuries a beacon has been lit near the summit to give warning or commemorate an important national event.

We were quickly on to the sculpture trail.

Looks like this just an amble today, too many interesting things to see.

If you are good at maths you would be able to count how many little men escorted you around the displays.

Wigwam - a bit draughty this one.

A polka perhaps.

A lot of green themes.

Foxy having a well deserved rest.

A quick groupie picture.

Or two.

Plenty of discussions on the art work.

Great place to look out at the Leicestershire vista.

More rubbish off to the sea.

Wild floral wilderness.

After the walk we headed off to the local pub at Woodhouse Eaves.

Very pleasant afternoon -  note in the diary - must come back.

Cheers, see you all next week.
