24th June 2016 Leire to Broughton Astley approx 5 miles.

This week's walk is from Leire to Broughton Astley and back.

The start is the car park on Frolesworth Road (we have used it several times before). On the left as you leave Leire, just past the disused railway which goes under the road. If you intend to meet us there (about 11:50am) could you let me know.

We walk through Leire, past Stemborough Mill into Broughton Astley to have coffee at The White Horse.

Coming back we take the more direct route to Leire. The walk is just under 5 miles, much of the first part is on tarmac, more field paths on the way back.

Fewer nettles and styles than last week.

As usual most of us will be leaving Cosby Village Hall Car Park at about 10.30am.
